Have completed a master’s or doctoral program in Manitoba within the past three years
Have completed a Mitacs or Accelerate internship in an eligible Manitoba-based research
enterprise
Meet Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7
Be currently residing in Manitoba
Submit a Career Employment Plan outlining their professional growth in the province
This stream is tailored for students who are already well-integrated into Manitoba’s academic and
research landscape and ready to contribute to its economy.
Skilled Worker Stream (SWS)
The Skilled Worker Stream invited 27 individuals, either through the Skilled Worker in Manitoba
or the Skilled Worker Overseas pathways.
To qualify for this draw, applicants needed:
A minimum score of 673
To have been selected through one of Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives

Avoid stronger ties to other provinces, which could be seen as a retention risk
