Why Newfoundland and Labrador?

The province recently increased its annual nomination allocation to 2,050, up from 1,050 after negotiations with the federal government. For AIP, it has 475 spaces.

  • Must have a job offer from a designated employer in Atlantic Canada.
  • Meet language, education, and work experience requirements.
  • Obtain a settlement plan from the province.
  • Apply directly for permanent residence with IRCC.
  • Can apply for a two-year work permit while PR is in process.
